Cubs Academy

The Panthers Cubs academy was formed in 2018 by the founders of the Panthers Basketball Club. The academy is about building basketball foundations and fundamentals in a fun environment for kids aged between four and eight years of age.

The Academy pathways program is all about instilling the panther values into young children in our community with the hope that one day they will join one of our teams. 

Our sessions are run by some of the best coaches in the association and are designed so the participants get maximum enjoyment while learning how to play the game of basketball. Over the last two years we have seen over seventy cubs go on to join a team and become a panther.

Cost:

For families who are happy for their children to attend on a casual basis, the cost is $5 per player, per session (to be paid in cash on the day). 

For the families who wish to commit to a full season and find it easier to make a one time payment and not have to worry about carrying cash, we offer a cubs club membership for $100. This includes: 

• Two terms of training at both our venues
• Panther Beanie and cubs top
• Quality coaching in a fun environment  

Sessions

• Monday 4.45 - 5.30pm at Prace Community Center, Reservoir 
• Thursdays 4.00 - 5.00pm at Pascoe Vale Girls College, Pascoe Vale
